Families are invited to take part in the free event. The theme this year is “Super Heroes,” and sixth graders and younger may come dressed in their favorite super hero costume.
Games, prizes, candy and more are planned for all ages. Activities will include inflatables, a cake walk and a grand finale. The church’s 24-foot Joy to Go mobile kitchen will also be on the grounds serving special treats and beverages free to all in attendance.
Joy Church is at 10085 Lebanon Road, at the corner of Lebanon Road and Benders Ferry Road, in Mt. Juliet. The entrance to the church is on Benders Ferry Road.
Joy Church is a growing, multi-generational, multi-cultural church representing almost every denominational background. It is one of the fastest growing churches in the region, growing from a humble beginning with only 18 members in 2003 to a present-day attendance of almost 2,000.
“We truly believe your experience at Joy Church will be unlike any church service you have attended,” said children’s pastor Ryan Benson. “If you don’t like organized religion, you will love Joy Church. We are not about religion. We are about a relationship with God the Father through His Son Jesus Christ. We are not about enduring life; we are all about enjoying life.”
